it is mechanically complete, working on getting the body stripped of chrome, etc before it goes to paint later this month. it will be black, with blackout treatment on all chrome

Nice . Make sure to get some pictures up once it's complete . I've always wanted to get some sort of project car for me and my boys but I know I wouldn't be able to get it done without some help though .

This pic is of my Wife and I at our wedding reception, (medieval theme) at Boston's Medieval Manor.

If you've never been to the Manor, you're in the area and got a few hours to kill stop by. It's a great experience. Have some good food, and drink, and watch a funny show. If you've never been, and live in the area...Shame on you. Go today, it's a blast!

Interestingly enough I just saw the monster jam tour in syracuse, ny back around memorial day weekend.
During the freestyle competition Tom Meents broke his front axle and then proceeded to drive maximum destruction until the front left wheel ripped off...after which he then did 360's on 3 wheels until the tranny line blew and the whole thing went up in flames and they hit the kill switch. He walked away without a scratch. And I even got it on grainy video on the girlfriend's digital camera.
Well worth the 13 bucks to get in.
