Anyone watch the King of Cars TV show? It's nice to watch a show about what goes on behind the scenes, but does it have to be so hip-hop/ganster all the time? Where's the chain-smoking Texan car salesman named "Tex?"? Needs a little variety.

I have seen it and believe it or not, short of all the TV hype, a lot of it is pretty accurate( I worked at a dealership ). I can say I would not buy from them though. Typical con man salesman. Fun show to watch though just to laugh at the people getting taken.

I guess that works for them because, they are one of the top dealerships in the nation. However, their sales tactics remind me of ambulance chasing lawyers. You know, modern day Snake Oil salesmen. Just my two cents.

I usually spend a ton of time trying to figure out the vehicle that I want ... online, visiting for test drive whatever. Then, I spend a day trying to find that vehicle for the cheapest price I can get. It's the way that a good deal of the car I want. I can usually tell if I can work with a salesman in about 5 minutes.

The process of buying a car had changed quite a bit I think. Usually folks come in loaded for bear and can work down to a deal pretty quickly too.
