That's pretty cool, but it's not new technology. I'm not sure why they felt like carrying on about it being new. I remember back in '89 there was an article about bio-wire. It'a a nickle/titatium alloy, that when voltage was applied it would contract in length, like the human muscle, and when the voltage was removed it would go back to it's original shape.

I'm actually surprised that it took as long as it has for the automotive industry to pick up these technologies, and make them their own.
On the other side of it, I'm glad to see that GM wasn't last to do it.:biggrin:

Thats what we need. I read the article. We need a car that slaps you in the head after doing "smokey and the bandit" in it. The car says dumb-ass...slap.
