Ok. Here's the scoop.

We all know that we NEED a photo gallery on this site.

1) I can figure out a way to put up a free one that is not very well integrated.

2) I can put up a free one that is integrated w/o many features.

3) I can buy one that costs $125 but is feature rich and very well integrated into the system.

MY vote is for #3, but I don't have $125 to plop down. I was thinking we can pass the hat and maybe everyone can put in like $5 or $10 (paypal?) and that should cover it considering all the regulars on here.

What do you get? You'll get a hyper good photo gallery and a little button next to your name that says "GMTruckClub Contributor".

What does everyone think? Who's in for $5 or $10?

I suppose that if everyone's in I can spring a small amount of denero. Keep in mind that I just started selling cars, maybe after I sell a few fully loaded H2's($65K) I can put more in.:cool:

Good idea. I gave out my home address only ONCE before, some nut started sending me stuff. So I'd better get a PO box soon to handle this stuff ... who know how many nuts are on this board! :lol:

Yeah, we can work something out. Let me get back to you. It looks like we'll hit our target next week.

I plan to kick in some $$ as soon as we get pretty close. I know it's a feature that is very nice and will help the site to grow, so it's an investment. Thanks to everyone who's helped out, it's really very cool!

Well, I had planned to have it up already. My wife had sinus surgery on Wednesday and it's been pretty much full time helping her out and watching the boy as well. then on top of that I've been trying to get some stuff sold.

Anyhow, I'll see if I can get it up and running soon.

Well, I bought the software, but I guess someone from their office has to login to release an email with the download login and password! (It should have been automated...the payment was!)...anyhow, so who knows when I will get it. I had 30 minutes of time but that is quickly going away.

Sometime this weel I'll get back into the photo gallery and fix it up right with a drop-down menu link to it and better categories. I also think I can get the old coppermine photo gallery migrated over into this one, but there was a version problem so it didn't work.
