My father just sold his 94 S-10. I used it for a while when I started my engine rebuild. It had a peppy little 4.3 V6.
Now that's the vehicle that engine belongs in. Not the full size pick-up.

Years ago my dad had a '98 GMC Sonoma 4WD truck that drove very nice. I loved driving that truck. He sold it becuase it doesn't make a good tow vehicle behind the motorhome. Anyhow, I always loved driving that truck and it did pretty well offroad and in the snow too.

My friend has 2 S-10's. A 2003 Extreme with 4 cyl. color: dark met. blue w/silver stripes, and a 1989 with a 383 stroker motor that he races.

Traded in the 99 Burb the 1st week of Oct for a 2002 S-10 4x4 Crewcab ZR5. Indigo Blue. A bit better mileage.

Oldest son just bought a 2004 silverado ext cab Sat. So far so good.

I have a 1991 S-10 4x4 long bed. Great truck has about 260,000 miles on it. Getting ready to put in a new engine as the current one is leaking a lot of oil. I am also getting another S-10, a 2wd to do a V-8 swap.

94 gmc sonoma 4.3l reg cab. I love it, good gas millage its peppy and who dosent love mini trucken :great:

during the lowrider days I had a 91 GMC sonoma gt ext cab, lowered 2 and 4, roll pan 2.8 v-6 i really liked that truck pure white except the red gmc grill logo

I had a 88 S-15 pickup that I traded in on my Silverado. I had owned it for almost 3yrs. I also have a 93 S-10 Blazer Tahoe 4X4 but I'm fixing to trade it in for a mini van for my ex-girlfriend to haul the kids in. The Blazer has become impractical. I hope to buy another S-10 someday to do a V8 swap.

Afte trying 2 months to sell his '95 Jimmy, dad gave it to me with the proviso I do what I want with it, just don't junk it. Wife likes it as it reminds her of the new 84 S-10 Blazer we had as newlyweds. So after I fix the motor mounts, get new front shocks, Rear brakes, go thru inspection, and get tags, sell her Grand Am, Jimmy will be hers.

For some odd reason she despises my 2002 Crewcab. Maybe it's because she hates pickups. They're basically the same vehicles but.............WOMEN!!!

It consistantly gets 24.5-25mpg on the highway @65. My C.C. get 22 so not too shabby. Gonna do some mods to it, install a floorshift, put the upgrade tripmeter with the electrochromic mirror in it. It's alreay got factory leather. The Drivers seat has a couple of broke thru cracks, so I'll look for a replacement while I'm getting the shifter stuff. nd pu a rear from a 98 up in it for the disc brakes and the G-80.

I have had two S-10's. A 1991, and the one we presently have. 1997 with 179, 8++ miles. If they would of still been making them, I would of bought another one when we bought our Jeep. I always wanted one of the ZR2 models. Eh, the Jeep is fun.....
