Anybody ever hooked up a tachometer to there truck. Mine doesnt have one and was goin to hook up an aftermarket one. How does it work?

Sure they look awesome in a Silverado! I've always stuck to AutoMeter.

Where does it hook up to?

In that truck there should be a place on distrutor cab (Bottom) That sender wire hooks up to. Measure # of revolutions or RPM's. Instructions generally come with it to explain wiring procedures.
