Need new lug nuts?

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be upgrading from the 17" stamped steel rims to 18" Z71 rims and would like to know if I need different lug nuts. The ones I have now have external threads for the center cap, but otherwise appears to be a typical acorn style nut.

Any input would be appreciated!

I just swapped my wheels from 16" aftermarket back to a set of stock aluminum rims from a Tahoe. I got the center caps and lugs nuts with the wheels and they were the acorn type with the external threads for the center cap. See the thread (http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7227) in the wheel section. You should be able to use the lug nuts you have.
