I dont really wanna do a suspension lift, or a body lift for that matter. Just looking for a few more inches, can the torsion bars or anything be cranked up to achieve this?

"a few mor inches" is what is achieved through a suspension or body lift. You MAY get an inch or two out of the torsion, bars, but I wouldn't do it...

It just seems like it sits a little lower than it should, dont really wanna jack it up though.

I used a set of Firestone (http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/air_bags.html) air bags to beef up the rear of a Dodge mini-van. My burb has a 3" lift kit that the previous owner installed. Makes getting over the rough stuff easier.

The torsion bars will only raise the front. If you go more than 2" you will start running into problems with the a-arms hitting the frame. You can put an add-a-leaf in the rear to raise it up a bit.

2" leveling kits are made for your truck. It comes with new torsion cloggs and extentions for your shocks or upgrade to longer shocks. I have heard that F150 Torsion cloggs are clocked differently and will work.
