Hey y'all..let me be the first to say that I'm new here and this probably isn't the right section for this so lemme apologize in advance... but..what exactly does the vortec 4200 engine do...i hear a whining noise, my RPMs shoot up to 6grand and my mph goes up quickly, is it a "mini sc"? My neighbor insists I'm running it to hard and saying I'm ruining the transmission, is he right or is he wrong? If so can you guys please explain this to me? Thanks, Josh.
