Stereo for 99 silverado

Hello everyone. Any suggestions for a good cd player for my silverado? The original radio/cd player still works but every light on the face no longer works. I'd like to put something new in and I dont have to have anything fancy. Just something that plays cds and maybe has a mp3 jack.

How about speakers? Any suggestions?

some might not agree with me, but the best thing to do is go to a big box store and buy a deck with free install, thats what i did 99$ for a good JVC deck w/ aux jack free install plus the stupid gm harness which was 100$ alone :(

Check out the Blaupunkt MP47 at Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dVuFQRNZypW/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?search=mp47&i=023KINGSTN). The MP47 has CD/MP3 player and usb and a 3.5mm jack. Crutchfield has a great system selector that recommends head units, speakers and includes the harness and other parts for installation.
