I try to keep it mellow. It keeps me calm so I don't have a complete melt down when things go wrong. At that point Marilyn Manson would not be a good idea. I listen to everything from Green Day to Hank Williams Jr.

I'm open to listening to everything except classical. Mostly Current hits and alternative with a nice helping of new country. Not really into that old country music. :glasses:

Since my Silverado came so equipped with XM satellite radio, the Boneyard (80's and 90's metal and hair bands like Judas Priest, Tesla, Slaughter, Warrant, Van Halen, etc.) is my channel of choice. I found out as well that AOL (America online)features XM as well so I listen to the Boneyard I'm my office while doing bookwork.
I like your choices as well pasch69 as they were some of my fav's in hi school (early 80's):great:

In the DFW area were lucky enough to have a radio station owned and operated by Willie Nelson, 92.5 The Lonestar, they play a mix of Country, Classic rock, Southern Rock, and Americana (what ever that is). It's all I play in my truck and on my office radio.
When I was in Norfolk, Virginia we had a station that played modern rock, FM99, the morning show with Tommy and Rumble was the best reason to listen to the station. After living across the U.S. I still think their show is the funniest I've ever heard. Luckily for me they stream it across the internet and I get to listen to it every morning.

Wow - old post resurrected! (sp?)
Anything from AC/DC to Daft Punk for me. Evanescence is another good one. Music with a good "thump" to it.
Try to do some electrical work while Daft Punk is blaring Robot Rock and try not to at least hum while crimping on terminals..

Oh no, no, NO..... It has got to be METAL....... ManOwar, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, Sonta Artica, DIO, Lamb-of-God, oh and so on and so on. This can be the one and only, get the blood flowing, the Brain in order and everything in the right place. Only one thing to say "Made Loud, to play Loud".
Have a stereo in the garage that most people have in their House..........:sign0021:

Unfortunately, on the job, I am not allowed to listen to music. I do, however, listen to my zune in my garage when I'm working. My zune has a bit of everything, hip hop, punk, country, rock, so it's kind of wierd some times with you go from AC/DC to Craig Morgan lol.
