Hey is anyone interested in decals that say GMTRUCKCLUB.COM
I was checking out this site and they have some good deals
I was thinking grave digger font and etched glass effect.
If we find 20 people we save %30. What do you think?
I'm open to suggestions.

I've been working on this for a while. Have plans to get a simple decal that just says GMTruckClub.com on it.

For the one I was thinking about it's like $16.25 but the more people we get the more we save all the way up to 30%.

silver sounds like a good color that would work with any color truck/van/suv

What do you think of these as window graphics. I want to put one on my truck but maybe not to big. 1"x10" would work for me or maybe even 1.5"x15" which is the next size up. I'm leaning toward Design #3 or Maybe #1 for a nice clean look.

If 5 people like one design save 15%, 10 20% 15 25% and 20+ 30%

My personal choice is probly Design #3 in 1"x10" etched glass effect. I think they look good on almost any color truck.

So If your looking for a decal and any of these choices interest you post what you'd like and we'll keep a running tally.

these will probly be alittle diffrent fonts but he said he's going to make like 10 or so different designs so we'll have a poll to see which ones are the most popular but everyone should be able to get what they want :)... He was suppose to have them to me today but they didn't come so hopefully this week sometime.

Well, the time to act on this is now. How many potential orders do we have? I can do the design and get it done locally (higher price) and can ship it out. I'll need to put a pencil to it so I don't lose money on it all when considering shipping costs, envelopes, etc.

Take a look at this one. I'm going to get one printed up locally. It looks much stronger when you actually get it printed out on a medium.

The decal is exactly the same at the logo up at the top. I think I'll pull the letters a little closer in and make them a bit taller and have them re-do another one.

I'll get a final set made up tomorrow or saturday. I think that when they're pulled together closer together it will look fancier.

These are cut vinal pieces, so they come in white or silver. That's the only options available, and it keeps the cost down on them. Once I get a final piece done, I'll start taking order on the site and we'll go to production. ;-)

Ok, it looks like I found a place that can get these done, thanks to everyone who's helped get this project off the ground.

The only real question is what design to use. To start with, and this is marketing 101, we've got to find something basic that appeals to the most people and stick with it. Like Henry Ford said, you can have any color that you want, as long as it's black.

I'd like to have something that's readable, but also that ties into the look/feel of the site itself. It looks like more people want something like #1 or #3, so I'll look into that tomorrow and will try to get some some samples made up and will post them up here and you can pay for them on here via PayPal, nice and easy!

I think this design like Kris showed would be really good and easy to read. I know I am in for 1 in silver the 1x11 but if it could be like 2x11 i think it might look better. also how about we post something in the general discussion area to get more input?

I like design #1, but I could live with #3 if it gets the majority vote. The window decal should be 2" X 11" though, defiantly. I like them in white or etched glass. Perhaps a pole on the design or color?

This design doesn't work well at 2"x11", the length stays the same, but the letter height doubles and it's hard to read.

I'll make a few designs, hopefully tomorrow AM and we can vote on them. For starters, there will be one design in white and then we can make another color in a few weeks or so.

You know what? I'm really not happy with the way the decal looks. Seriously, it looks "ok" and it's good enough to show your support for the club, but what about some graphical pizzaz? Several said they wanted something fancier, and I tell you what, you're right.

I think we might do two different stickers. The basic plain-jane sticker, but I'm coming up with a different logo here as we speak and I'll put up some examples of what I'm thinking, hopefully before my kiddo wakes up.

Take a look at this:

I like this design becuase 1) it's easy to read, 2) it's eye-catching, 3) it gives some depth to your vehicle, like we're a real club with some real power behind us, 4) it just looks more appealing than the flat across the window sticker.

I'm not sure what etched glass is on a vinyl cutout like this. This is a piece of vinyl that is cut-out and the excess is pulled off. Then a clear piece of application tape it put over it. You pull off the backing piece and stick it on the window, then pull off the clean application tape and you're showing the flag for GMTC.com! ;-)

Unless there are howls of protest, I think this needs to be the #1 issued GMTC sticker, it will be in white and I'll have to figure out the sizes for this. Probably 3" tall, mabe 4" tall ... then we'll get one about 50% of that size for the side-window decal.
