We are gearing up to do a flooring project. It will probably be laminate, trying to stay as cheap as possible, but anything with a color that we like will be $2.00 / sqft or maybe even $3.00 / sqft when we're all done. We've got about 650 sqft to do overall, so it may cost a bit and will take a Friday night and all day saturday next week. Right now, just trying to get everything cleaned up, do all the laundry, get rid of old and broken toys, etc. Then next Friday/Saturday we can ...
Just passed 80,000 miles on my Chevy Cavalier recently. The only problems that I've had with it was an alternator that went out around 70,000 or so, otherwise it's been regular maintenance and smooth driving.
Well, it's that time of year again, time to sleep in ... until 7:45 AM ... do some chores and maybe head out to the waterpark this afternoon. On Saturday I put out some Saint Augustine Sod, not a lot only about 45 pieces. They're shaped funny, 16" x 24" ... that makes each piece 2.666 sq. feet. Means I laid out about 120 sq. feet, all for about $45 cause it's $.99/piece. The list of to-do's around the house is longer than I can complete! Oh well, I'll keep ...
