Well, my Trailblazer has been back home for about a week now. I've got a good number of photos to post about it. We're getting very close to each member having his own personal photo album very soon, so I'll probably wait until that comes live and will post them over.
After fully reviewing my Trailblazer accident ... it was mostly just sheetmetal and no frame damage.
Ok, the manager at the shop said that he wants to get this overspray right and he's going to take care of it. They put me in a rental car from Enterprise rentals and they'll have it done monday. Basically they're going to have to take all the stuff off that inner left-fender and get all of the paint off so it's not obvious that there is overspray.

I sat and looked at it for a minute. I looked at the keys. Yes, itís a 2008 Saturn Vue alright and I was about to take it for a spin. It looks smaller than it did in previous years. Less boxy, less SUVish, I guess it's a crossover now. Now it the next generation Vue, and the designers at GM/Saturn want to make it walk a fine-line between a compact SUV and a mid-size Crossover.

Started up the day by getting a cup of coffee, then headed out to get the Trailblazer Inspected. Got that done, have them replace one of the license plate tag lights on the vehicle, so it would pass inspection.
I drove to car max to get it checked out. They did an inspection and found no frame or structural damage, offered me a lowball wholesale value (I'll post about that in the TB section) and that was that.

Just hit 80,000 miles on my '99 Chevy Cavalier this morning. I meant to watch it flip, but I stopped for coffee and looked down when I got on the freeway and noticed it was at 80,002 and thought that this thing is doing pretty good overall.
Since I've owned it for about 4 years, I've only had to do regular maintenance and put in an alternator in the low 70,000 range. Otherwise I've had very few issues with it. I do need to get the alignment
