Over many years the truck had issues starting when engine hot in summer in Phoenix, Az. Blogs talked of increased resistance in wires to and in solenoid due to "hot soak", primarily with headers. The starter is just below the exhaust manifold on the passenger side. We have stock exhaust with factory starter heat shield. Starter removed several times in last couple of years; solenoid insulated, connections checked, etc.. On the 3rd removal the bakelite on the solenoid broke. Replaced starter
OK, so ive been having problems with my wipers. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont... they will work for a few minutes then stop. its obviously not a bad motor or it would never work. im a little confused. any advice?

Just got to Wasington, 1,400 miles, lots of hills! Went up the Grape vine using my Gear Vendors Box and didn't even notice I was climbing in elev. Got to the Serria Nevadas and didn't even notice them! Had a FULL load in the truck. The box is kinda expensive but I feel like I'm driving a different truck!
