Weeeeeelll... it's been not quite a year since installing the Rocker Pods from Ultimate Truck Gear. Wow. Just... wow!
Florida.. Canada.. Vegas.. numerous trips to St. Louis, and countless local trips. I can only estimate but I believe I've gone about 20,000 miles since their installation last May(ish). If I went out side and cleaned them up with the hose right now - they would look like they were just installed yesterday. I kid you not!

Oh yeah....can feel the spring in Norway now, so it suddenly hit me......I need to grease up my car after running on those salty roads this winter. So.......were are the lub points on the big burb.
Good question, I guess I could start crawling and see if I find them all, but......nah.....google I guess, try to find a lubrication chart pointing me to all the grease points.

Well, after owning the Suburban for about 3 years with no cruise control, I fixed it! I always knew what the issue was, but didn't want to spend the money to fix it.
The cruise control servo on my suburban is an old vacuum motor style. It has a rubber diaphragm with an aluminum boss on it that is a loop to hold the hook-side of the throttle linkage. Well, that loop had ripped out on my previous cruise control motor, so the cruise couldn't pull the throttle.
After weather can`t make up it`s mind, after heavy snowing and blizzard it has now turned the temperature to positive....and.,....rain, LOL.
Personally I hope that the snow disappears this time and stay away, I am definetely ready for SPRING !!
