Tranny Disasters!

Rate this Entry
This past weekend I did some hauling with the 'Burb. Thought I'd get it out there for my first major trip in it since it's been laid up with a dead tranny. Well, I apparently wasn't ready to pull it out of the 'ol car-hole yet because it looks I was sold a bad rebuilt tranny, torque converter, or both. For the gritty details on this, refer to my post in the powertrain section of the forum. (http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11784) I am very dissapointed in my new transmission. I mean, I haven't even put 100 miles on it yet and it's already screwing up. I'm thinking this is going to warrant a post in the product reviews area on how crutty Phoenix Transmission is. I was lined up for a fun weekend up at the Boy Scout camp where I wasn't really called to do too much other than relax and sit on my arse for most of the day, and on the way up to the camp this happens, so the weekend was spent worrying about what's wrong with the truck. Oh well, C'est la vie... ("such is life" in english..)
