Air Intake for 1995 GMC 1500 - Open Breather

Im currently considering getting an open breather for my 1995 GMC 1500, but my dad doesnt seem to think it will positively impact anything. Any comments to what it will do?

    Good question, however the blogs don't get much traffic for help requests. You'll get more responses in the forums if you repost your question there. The blogs are more for keeping updated on long-term projects, trips and just general observations.
