The Rise of Black Betty!

So there I was washin the truck when I noticed a couple of wet spots in the upper corners of my back window. At first I thought it was the back window itself leakin (warrenty issue), but (thankfully? TBD...) turns out the trouble was my RECON 3rd brake light. It was a teo part fault. First part was user error, in my exhuberance to install the light I over tightened the light putting small cracks in the exterior housing (voiding the warrenty). Second problem was product related. Turns out the gasket was insufficient to keep out water from the truck. So ad soon as the next light arrives, I'll apply some black silicon to further seal he unit. This should solve by little problem... At least until the L.E.D's burn out!

Oh, on a side note I'll hopefully be completing my Diablew tune within the next couple of weeks!

Good info for anyone changing to this model light, hopefully this will help avoid the install problems you had.
