    I have a 5.7L with a 700R4 C-3500 that I bought for towing. I have modified a lot for extra power for pulling my boat. I get 11.8 - 11.9 mpg in 50-50 city/country driving. In o.d. on the freeway I get 17-18 mpg unloaded & at 65-70mph. Towing my boat 6,500 lbs. 12,500lbs GCVW I get 8 mpg.
