Has anyone put in a heavier clutch set up?

Noooooooooooope, but I'm thinking that's an interesting avenue. Have you found any info for upgrade/swaps? Is the reason for increasing setup for towing or longevity? Other than that, I can't see a great deal you stand to gain putting in the leg work there. Let me know what you find out!

Honestly just putting in a quality aftermarket supplier clutch will more than handle any load you can throw at them. The trannies in these trucks werent the strongest and the clutch actually wasnt the real weak point. usually it was hard parts built into the tranny.

I'm new to this trans. Last stick was a 84. Just looking into the options as I do mostly stop and go in town. Thanks
