1996 overhead (rear control) fan switch quit working???

Follow up question...some quick checking revealed that the fuse labeled "blower" in the fuse box in the engine compartment was actually missing.

Before you condemn the diff check the axle bearings and the pinion bearing.
With a roaring rear axle Id suspect a bearing issue over bad gears.
