White lithium grease will lubricate the new hinge, and stop the creaking. Good job on the repair, I know you saved yourself some money in labor.
If your working on a fwd vehicle pikeys serpentine tool is awesome, that's the only thing that would work on my Hhr. Otherwise 3/8" ratchet works
