Wont fit because it hits the fan shroud. You can trim it and i have seen many people do it. I personally dont think they do much but if you already have

Quick question about tire size.
Another quick reference: I have a 2001 Silverado that is much like yours = 2WD, extended cab, 6' bed. Undersides shouldn't be too much different.
