I'd heard just a little heat,not after fluid comes out,but may re think that.I worry that even line wrenches will still strip.Guess it's vise grips.

you might want to pick up a set of line wrenches. chances are that you will round them off with regular wrenches
I agree! Don't cut them off. Are you sure that you just don't have bad lower bushings on the shocks? They make the same noise that you are describing.
I don't think so. It could be a BCM issue. Hopefully someone else that can lend more help will come along soon.
