Had to trade in my "06 Colorado. was about to need AC work (again)5 cyl. eng is great. and I do miss my truck.
Jeep had a deal I could not refuse, I bought an "09 Jeep Compass Sport 4 dr. with VVT 2.4 eng. and cvt od trans. Life-time Drive train warenty, with 6k oil chg. & 5 year insp.Great power for towing my 5 X 10 trailer that is now my truck.
I feal like a trator though
After a vacation to visit my newest Grandson in McKenny TX and driving to Houston then back to TN through Schrievport and an extra 700 mi. back for a total of 2500 mi., I got over 27 mpg on three fill-ups I averaged just over 25 mpg for trip. I did change the oil before leaving home, and checked the tires 35 psi. over all, a great truck
I've got about 42,000 on my '06 and I'm liking it more every day. With 5 w 30 fully synthetic oil I average a little over11,000 miles between changes. I checked the oil yesterday when I fueled and it still looked like new with over 10K and still full. The power is great and fuel mpg acceptable. still 17 with all cold runs ( 4 mile each way ) I did change tires to 235 15s from 225s My spedo is accurate now but I lose about 5 percent on trip miles. I checked my spedo with a Garmin G P S and also a TomTom . Satalite tracking has to be the most accurate. Have a great Day and remember to Have FUN with it
