Branson sounds EXACTLY like Toronto…….. Except for Andy Williams, The Lennon Sisters, The Platters, The Righteous Brothers…Glen Campbell…….

I’ll bet you those out of towners probably all live in Toronto. But consider yourself lucky.... you have lines on your roads, in TO the ministry of transportation cleverly disquised our lines with pot holes. We also have the world’s busiest highway, locally known as the world’s longest parking lot. Train horns wouldn't help but then again they wouldn't hurt..... Yeah I still want them.

You may be right on the BB code….never thought about that….watching me type can be quite painful I just thought I was timing out the dialog box LOL!

Keep a look out for my next post…..should be before the New Year

    Have a good one!

Oh yeah, you never know with us Canucks EH!.....I'm working on the posts and my typing skills, just yesterday I spent half an hour trying to reply to your message. Couldn't figure out what "BB code error" is......still don't know but I did get the post sent (must be magic or something).

Train horns!!! are definatly are on my wish list. The Rocker Pods gota think about it, maybe I can use them to carry my hockey sticks.

SEMA next year, I'll make sure to bring beer and Tim Hortons coffee

I saw you post on air compressors, I was going to give my opinion but then thought about it and figured I could only offer hot air to the subject.

BB code!....BB code!......s##t !!! so much more to say.... I wish I had taken Magic 101 in school.

Hope you found the confusion funny, I sure did. As I said it would have been great to have actually met each other. You said you saw a radar detector system. I gota say we drove 2700 miles and saw probably 10-12 radar traps. I use a CB whenever I drive and it hasn't failed me yet. The truckers are always looking for Smokey and can't wait to expose his den. Besides it makes for some good conversation.

HA HA! Gota get to posting for sure!! LOL ..... With the booth and everything I didn't spend to much time with the other exhibitors. I did talk to the remote controll rock climbers, those little trucks were tottaly cool.

How long were you in Vegas, and did you drive or fly down?

Looks like you were standing right across from me when you took the picture LOL!

The motorcycles/cars do look like something out of science fiction. I didn't see them at the show......probably didn't see half of what was there. I spent quite a bit of time outside in front of the convention center. I did see the motorcycles running around Toronto this past summer though. I think its called the T-Rex

Between my brother in law and myself we took about 200 pictures. But I agree with you that the pictures don't compare to the real thing

Sorry I can't PM yet, gota spend some more time posting to earn the privelage.

It was my first time at SEMA and Vegas as well, so I was walking around in a bit of a daze. I can't remember half the things I saw. Tried to get pictures as many as possible, even ran out of memory on my camera. Did you get a picture of the car from Montreal?..."CRAP" is right were in Canada are you originally from?..... my driver side cargo step had Molson Canadian in it, we should have met!!

Hey Springthing, thanks for checking out my gallery. It would have been nice to have met at the show. My wife and I stayed at a Motel in Springfield on our way to Las Vegas. Gota say Missouri has some great scenery......Cheers!

Why won't my mustang just work!?

by Springthing on 11-07-2010 at 07:43 PM
So for the past year I've been having trouble with the mustang. It kind of sucks because that's my gas saver. It's a v6 mustang so it's good on gas.

The car started to lurch. The car started to stutter. The car started to hesitate on the road.

So after a little bit I got to being able to get the nerve up to fix what I thought was the issue. Plugs and wires.

So I did my plugs, my wires and I sat in the car and went for a short drive and POOF! it works

Uncategorized it's time to vent. Brakes on 1999 Suburban K2500. (Part 2)

by Springthing on 08-08-2010 at 01:52 PM
Friday morning I head up to the dealership. I have a few coffees in the waiting room and they come back, finally, with the fact that the ABS light is on because the front left (driver's) ABS sensor is out and needs to be changed out. But the whole assembly is one unit and needs to be changed out, along with the bearing thing..etc etc.

Until then, 'we can't bleed the brakes, the ABS system has to be full functional first'

They need to do both

Uncategorized it's time to vent. Brakes on 1999 Suburban K2500. (Part 1)

W. T. H?

I'm serious right now...wth is up with this stuff??

First, let me say....this is primarily me, venting. I've said most of this stuff before but now I need to get it all out.

I don't even know where to start.

I've had this Suburban for a few years. In that time I've had to replace the front pads four times. I've looked around, I've done some research, and I understand that the brakes for this truck aren't top notch. It won't stop

It's an engine SWAP! Laying the groundwork.

by Springthing on 07-30-2010 at 01:48 PM
More for my sake than anyone, I have decided to write a little about the 454 engine swap out of the 1999 Suburban. I won't be making a How-To, that's for sure, but it will be nice to chronicle the steps to getting a new motor in front of the truck.

I started by digging around a little, asking questions to people online, an engine builder in the area, and doing a little research.

With 205,xxx miles on the truck it's about time I just take care of the problem once and

Ultimate Truck Gear Rocker Pods - Real World Use Update!

by Springthing on 04-03-2010 at 10:21 AM
Weeeeeelll... it's been not quite a year since installing the Rocker Pods from Ultimate Truck Gear. Wow. Just... wow!

Florida.. Canada.. Vegas.. numerous trips to St. Louis, and countless local trips. I can only estimate but I believe I've gone about 20,000 miles since their installation last May(ish). If I went out side and cleaned them up with the hose right now - they would look like they were just installed yesterday. I kid you not!

They have gone through water,
