Damn brother I havent been on here in months. You moved here to Ohio? where about? You really bout to loos your job and you just got to Ohio? that fckin sucks! Man I havent did **** to the truck, I was lookin at some wheel today on line and I would like to do a 3" body lift and I guess I can do torsion keys to get a extra inch out the front? I havent done much research on it. I been tryin to work OT so I can get my damn chopper running by next summer.
  5. I put 4.56 ratio gears in. They offer a little more off the line than the stock truck and a little less top end, but I think its the closest you can get to stock and I'd rather have a little more off the line. I did have to trim the air dam to fit the three fives, but nothing too extreme. I have a ProComp 6" kit on my truck. If I had to do it over, I'm not sure If Id go with anyone else. That kit kept alot of the factory geometery and track width, which I like. Some of the other kits widen the front track width, etc and I hate the way that looks. If anything, I would look closer at a Fabtech kit, but in the end I am really happy with mine. One thing I will suggest , because it looks bad-ass, is the dual shock hoop setup and a front skid plate, but those you can add later.

Thanks for your input man. I appreciate all the details you can give me. What gears did you get installed in your z71 and did you have to trim your air dam to make your 35's fit? I agree, i like the look of your tire/rim setup and will most likely hit the same combo when I get around to lifting mine. Oh and that gas mileage i'd say is definately good for a lifted truck. I'd be happy with it. Oh and what configuration would you recommend if you were me lifting my truck??
  7. City i can get around 14.5, highway is at 16-17 on a good day. it was worse before I regeared.

Hey what kind of fuel mileage do you get with that truck? City and Highway? I have the same truck except its ext cab. And im thinking about lifting it 6" With the 35" Tires and just wanna know how drastic the mileage will change lol. Thanks

hey brother how have you been? i havent been on here in a while and I stopped by to admire your truck. I want mine lifted like yours but that stuff gets really expensive.
  10. Na- doesn't make the wheel any dirtier having the exhaust dump there. I will say that it is louder in the cab since it exits right under the rear door.
