Duncan, I saw the pic of your intake. I have a question if you dont mind. Just curious why did you go with an open air intake instead of a closed box? Do you go off road ? any issues with mudd up there? Thank you.
nice it will look awesome with the lift.
I was looking at your tires, BFG are in the top 3 for the trucks, Goodyear and Mich's are the other two, like the ones on your truck, had them before, good performer....
Thanks for asking about the wife, sorry it took so long to write, like I told Spring, been busy as hell and keeping the economy going myself I think. I still am on hold with the intake, its not the main priority now, tires are for both trucks, looks like about 1k total for both, have been dealing with several to get the best deal and a little more I hope. K&N still looks like the one though.........
Sorry, I have been so busy can't even get here, no I have not but have decided on the K&N though. Wife hade surgery 5 weeks ago and have my hands full with all that she does for us that I've been doing with all my other stuff. Thanks for asking, you will be the first I let know when I do it....Hope all is good with you, I will return, miss the place and everyone.....
i think it would look good iv thought about doing the same..i have even seen a few brush guards that look good
ha well thanks!! i still need to do some minor things to get it lookin a little better...nerf bars, window tint..things like that
i have 35/12.50/16 on mine right now..but i could fit a 37" just want to swap gears before i go bigger
Well for the price and the ride quality i would tell you to go with the 6" rough country lift I have...it should still be priced and $999.00 and like i said its not a true 6 so if your only looking for a 4 but want it to sit nice then I would recommend the RC lift.
Also if you dont like RC then I have a buddy who has a 4" Superlift on his 97 and he likes his kit alot.So another well known company that you could check into.
I have the rough country 6" susp. and the rough country 3"body.. The RC 6" isnt a true 6 from what i can tell its only about a 4.5"
