I try to get out camping as much as possible. Really when I have my trailer it's like a 2 bedroom house so its cheating at camping but in a month I'm doing it right. Sleeping in the back of my truck, cooking over cap fires etc...
My buddy is building a bike right now. But he can build anything with a motor. Are you just getting the frame or are you getting everything with it?
Sweet news about the chopper. I was gone the last two nights, I took my 2 year old boy camping. He had a blast. You gonna post some pictures?
How are things going for you?
My avatar is a picture of Dakota, she is a Siberian Husky her color is Red Agouti but she looks white in the pictures. I will change it so you can see a picture of her all grown up now, she weighs about 50 lbs. and has icy blue eyes. My weekend was pretty good, I took my Vespa out of storage although my truck is still locked away until the weather clears up all the way. I had an oil change done on the bike because It had the 625 miles required for the break-in period, the Polaris dealer charged me $80 for that oil change. They require Castrol full synthetic to operate, you can't change to regular oil because of some reason or another! I don't mind putting synthetic it in, I was just surprised at how much more the synthetic oil changes are. I learn something new everyday..........AMY
Hey did you every figure out which wheels you were going with?
they look pretty good, at first a little radical. i disconnected the halos so its just the led's right now. i think it looks less busy, and more mean. and yes i also added the hid's to the lights, it was a simple H7 bulb conversion kit
thanks bro. to tell u tha truck i dont cause i bought like that from the dealership they tell me that is was close to 1g with installation i have the embles and the start sell like for 100.00 in ebay so i thing is true so the dealer did almost all the mods. i paid like 8gs for rims lowering leather sits all the crome remote start tint windows exhaust.the system i did it on my own they sound good enought bass for me sound alot better the my friends car and he got 2 15"s and aboute the rubbing no the onli proble is that the axle is to close to the freme so something on bumps the axle hits the frame but is not that bab i tow a little trailer last week for 2 hours im gonna putsome pictures so u can see
I get about 16 to 24 MPG. 16 is in town and 24 is highway at 65 MPH unloaded. Pulling my 8000 pound trailer I get about 14 at 65 MP + or - a bit depending on grades. This diesel motor is a true machine, I'm glad I got it but if I didn't have a big trailer I would have kept my 1/2 ton.
That was a good one!
