Quite a while, it could be that the car has been working excellent and that I have been very busy at work.
Well, the car has a problem......as described in this thread http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/sho...f-the-ignition
Strange some of those electrical problems, and really annoying when you can`t figure out whyyyyyy.
Well, during last weekend the solution was to take off the negative on the battery each
I convinced her that this was the car for her
So last weekend We drove about 3 hours and picked it up. It is a nice Jeep, considering that it has 338 000 km on it. Most of the car was freshly overhauled, so I am not concerned about the mechanics. All in all I believe I have made a good buy, and so far she`s happy with it on those wintry, icy Norwegian winter roads. Nice......next time I might convince her to step it up a notch and go for a Tahoe ???
Some time since the last post, but nothing much has happened either.
Finally got my new third brake light from the US, and it was nice.....smoke coloured glass, clear LEDs made it suit perfectly with the black. Also obviously as it is winter I have borrowed some old rims for my wintertires, taken from a 2004 Chevy pick up 6,6 duramax, and found that they build more than my original rims...hmmm....and i thought they were the same. So now the tires points about 2 cm outside the body,
After a long struggle my 98 sub was sold here the other day.
Due to the crack in the block, and no time or space to do it myself I let her gp way too cheap.....NOK 45000 including new lights all around and headrest DVD`s.....but anyhow, I needed my driveway back, lol.
So I mounted the manifold and all back into place, actually droveit a short distance and delivered it to a car freighter.
She was sold down south in Norway, to a place called Notodden.
