I looked at the headers your looking at... those would go well with a dual inlet/outlet muffler... that way you wouldnt need the y pipe.
I hope this helps.... I have the 1 7/8... they made a big difference in performance. To get the full benefit youll need a programmer. The larger piped headers will have a lower tone... which I love. The combination I have with the corsa exhaust sounds awesome. I believe for the most performance boost youll want to run a y pipe... as it will equalize pressure on all cylinders. I went with the highflow cats with mine. Also, there is a more pronounced sound with headers over stock manafolds. I have pics of my headers in my garage.
arrite so the tires i was gonna go with ( red letter grabbers, 35" )were on national back order i tried 4 different distribution centers and theyre all out of stock, so i wound up gettin bfg mud terrain t/a km2 35x12.5x17s, with the new tires im sittin at 43 3/4" in the back with about a half inch of rake in the front, the tires fit on fine at first but when i turned they rubbed on the bumper because my bumpers all smashed and pulled back so i took a grinder to it so they wouldnt rub for now but ive got a nfab rsp replacement bumper on its way, integrated skidplate with tube steel wings.. wont have to worry about the tires rubbin on that guy! lol
Hells yeah finally the post I've been waitin for! Got the lift all installed and she's sittin back on her own feet again, looks good! Front fender height: 42" rear: 43 1/4". gotta set of American Outlaw Shotgun:17x9's sittin in my garage just waitin on my tires to show up now, gonna go with those red letter grabber's 35x12.5x17.. Also I've installed an Airaid Poweraid throttle body spacer as well as a Diablosport Predator tuner. Gotta finish my exhaust before shell pass inspection, debating on whether to go with single in dual out glasspack or goin true duals with dual packs lemme know what ya think.. arrite so got some good news and bad news.. the bad news is even with the help of a smoke wrench, pb blaster, and a big ol' hammer i still cant get my keys to free up from the bars, ive only been able to poke away at it on nites n weekends n im doin it all my self so its takin longer than id like, i think im just gonna grind away at the ol key, torch it up red hot, drive a wedge in the ground out spot n hope it splits to the center, then itll be able to free up from the bar n the hammer will take care of the rest. im puttin in the replacement keys on anyhow so im not worried about damagin the original gettin it out.. TThe good news is that from not drivin the truck lately i bought a lift with saved gas money! wound up ordering a 6 inch non torsion drop rough country suspension lift with the kicker braces last nite! oughtta be here this week so when finished ill have 6-8 inches of lift in the back and a 5 inch block in the rear plus addaleafs so it should look pretty good when im done
well i got my parts ordered last nite they oughtta be here sometime this week .. gettin a torsion bar unloading tool so i can put in my new keys plus im gettin a steering stabalizer and hd tie rod sleeves, aswell as a set of 0.25" wheel spacers front and 1.5" for the rear.. been waitin to get these for a while now the rake was buggin me with the add a leafs the front just looks mad low.. will post pics when the parts arrive
