Hi Justin- this current tank is averaging 13.6MPG, but there's very little highway travel in it. I can really baby-the-throttle and coast to stops and milk the tank to about 14MPG usually. But I would say average for me is right at 13.5. I had an all-highway trip that averaged 15.1 once. I was able to pull away from my friends Ford FX4 prior to the 35's and now he pulls away from me pretty much by the same amount I left him when we lined them up last. I was told by everyone prior to lift that 3.73 were fine and no need to change but I am still a strong advocate of changing them up to 4.56s. I hope to change mine out sometime in 2013 and can report again then. Sounds like overall you arent very far off from what I'm getting with 3.73 verses 3.42. Great truck man!!!!
How's it going, I see you have 3.73 gears..I'm curious to the performance you get. I have a 2012 with a 7" lift and 35's with 3.42 gears. I get roughly 13 MPG but despise the constant downshift when climbing hills. How is the ride with your gears, what kind of fuel mileage do you see and whats the drive like on the highway? Thanks for your time.
