I removed the dash, and painted it with http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/

and the emblem,... I removed and sanded down and painted black as well, but I just reading this, best way to paint it and have the high gloss look (link below)

It's actually dark blue metallic to match my truck. And I painted it myself...nothing fancy just a rattle can job. It's a billet bowite too but if you have the stock plastic one it should be very easy. I was just getting bored of the billet look and since it's just spray paint I could remove the paint and buff the piece to a shine again if I wanted to.

my LED lighting is all custom-done (by me). I used 5mm LED lights, 13000mcd (bright, but without blinding you) and built all the lighting. the under-dash lighting i recently did is 4 little clusters of 3 lights, soldered and hooked up with some simple wiring. My amp rack is lit up by the same lights, but 3mm. IF you want to do some LED stuff, its pretty easy as long as youre good with soldering. If you have any questions along the process, feel free to ask.

I'm glad you like them! I think they look great although sometimes they're a little bit dim when driving straight into the sun but I think they look great!
