Hey, just found your message, sorry. I haven't been to the forum for a while. I just fixed the truck yesterday. Dropped in a new fuel pump and she's back to rippin' n snortin'. Fired right up this morning after a cold, damp night.

I got my pump from RockAuto.com. I only mention that because they got me a good pump for half the cost (more less!) that the local parts stores wanted.

It went in pretty easy. I dropped the tank partway, then cut a hole in my floor. Went a LOT easier that way and now I can get to it whenever I need to.

I did find out that the GM quick connect fuel lines take a smaller tool than the common 5/16 universal tool. I had to cut the ports off my old pump, then get the broken tubes out of the connectors. Hooked right back up with no leaks though!
