Alright Drake I was wondering exactly what kind of Recons headlights you have. There are two on Recon's website part# 264271bkcc $599 and #264271bk $499. The first ones are ccfl's w/daytime running lights and the second ones are led's. Checking out if you don't mind and tell me which you have. Also where did you get yours and for how much? Are they bright and are you happy with them? Oh yeah and which fog light bulbs did you go with platinum blue or diamond white also color temp. Sorry to ask so many questions but just trying to decide what I like.

Well I remember it being a pain on my sierra but I have to take a look at how the lights are mounted in the silverado. If anything I might need to remove the bumper covers. Realized I ordered the smoked headlights instead of clear black so I had to cancel the order and re-order the right ones. They're on backorder but I saved an extra $20

Thanks you! I got home at 4pm and immediately Googled it and got some advice on which end to pry against. Only minor issue I had were the back ones. When I put the LED in place it was flashing. To me it indicated that the metal holders weren't close enough against the LED so I took them out and squeezed them together slightly. Put the LED back in and "wha-la". Also threw in the license plate LEDs. Can't wait until dark so I can see how bright they are.

Hey there, just ordered some LEDs for the interior (Map and Dome) was wondering if you found it difficult to get the light covers off. Haven't tried it yet, hope to get the LEDs by the weekend.

@ Steve, LOL! Yeah about that! I originally signed up a little about 8 months after I bought my '06 Silverado, but due to training and moving across the country I kinda sorta forgot I signed up! Then after I bought my Sierra, I paid more attention to my e-mails, and started back up again! Workin on the posts now :great:

Well hey there! I'm a US Navy Vet, and consider myself a mild outdoorsman! Thankfully, the Navy has given me plenty of opportunities to travel the globe! Been all around the western Pacific, and even driven cross country a couple of times! Love Hiking and Campin, and pretty much anything else that gets me out on (or off) the road! On Weekends I also volunteer on Lake Mead towing stranded boats in teaching water/boating safety.
