      this is a 1500 right?
i have a 3" body lift and wanted to put 6" suspension lift but people are telling me that 9" of lift will make the tires look to small. but i am liking the look of yours. take a look at my truck and tell me if it would look good with 9" lift 35s and 16" wheels

Hey, i have found a bds 6 in lift now and im thinkin im going to get it soon. When you put yours on did you have to do any trimming to fit the 35s on?

just go ahead and get the warn 15000, you will never need that much but you have it if you do! My father has one on his grill guard and a trailer hitch mounted one, but he drives an 08 ford(traiter)

SO i've determined you have about 100 times more experience with lifted trucks than i do. I had a 96 dodge ram before i got my 08 chevy and it sat pretty high already.. I have the 08 LTZ 5.3 4x4 I don't want to lift it too much because i'm not a serious off-road enthusiest.. (I just don't want to get stuck when responding to fire calls in my town) ... I only planned on a 2" tuff country suspension lift (spacers in the front add-a-leafs in the rear) i figure 33's would be a good tire to go with but what about 34.5's? I wanted toyo M/T's but can't get them in 33's without being too wide... stock tires are p275/55/R20 do you think LT275/65/R20 E10's would fit with just a 2" lift?

14.50s will wear equally as bad on the front. You'd have to run a wider rim and the wider tire makes the steering components and the IFS work harder.

I've been in the Army for almost 12 years now.

idk ive been thinking about just running some 35-14.50 or wider. i think ill be ok with that. not like i need the ground clearance, i need to go somewhere that bad ill use one of my other trucks. but damn breaking it loose like that. that cool. ill just stick with the 4:56's. thanks for all the info. im trying to get my dad to have my truck into the shop so its ready for when i get home after i get back from deployment. how long have you been in?

i see you have pretty much the same setup i have but a 05 ex cab. hows your performance with those 4:56 gears? i was trying to get mine put in the shop to get those. but eventually i will go up to 37's
