I put on a 2.5inch susp lift. u can proly get 3.5 out of it. Its more of a prostetic thing.
    4. MTM
How much lift did you put on.
    5. tigersdl65
I bought mine from It is a Skyjacker.(I heard bad reports on the rough country) It was $510 for the lift and shocks. My lift has add-a-leafs but of course you can get blocks. That was the cheapest I could find at the time but i have seen them cheaper since then.

I was thinking of that. Where did you get yours, and how much did it cost? It really does make the truck look better.

Well I can say it isnt gonna roar when you hammer on it. I like it because I dont wont it so loud I cant hear the radio. So go with what you want the most.

Sry for the late response but I want it louder than stock...I mostly want it loud when I hammer on it. Like when I want it to be quiet it will be quit then when I want it loud it will be loud..
It would be nice if you could send me a pic..

Hey man do you have a video of your truck running? I want to know what my truck will sound like with the V-force muffler. Or if you have a pic of the muffler installed that would be cool.

Cool. I was wondering why you had pics of the lift and your truck looked like it wasn't lifted..Thanks for the link.

Sweet man that's awesome! Do you have a link to where I can look at the V-force system? My truck has 120,000 miles on it. LOL And it still looks and runs good. That pic in my signature isn't current. I've debadged the tailgate and some other things and I took off the bug guard on the front.

sorry to get back to you so late!! you had asked about the cars that i have worked on. in was in an exotic performance shop in new jersey. i was basically contract labor out of the shop. it was just kind of one of those "friend of a friend" connections. lots of fun tho, and GREAT for the resume!!!!

just take a break have a beer and I bet the next one will go alot easier!

I looked on line for you, I went to a site and everyone on it said to just lube it up thatll force it to slide instead of compressing.just spit on it. or try some wd40 even, get it slick so it slides and doesnt hang up and compress. them try the clamp again I bet you can get it with alittle effort that way.
    18. zubbiez
ahay I was no where near close to what you where talking about was I? do you have a big c clamp that you could use to press it in I would try that, wet the bushing so that it'll slid into place All the shocks ive every bought had them installed already. but I think that a clamp could do what your after.

as far as i know its real... i found it on the internet, but i hope to see something like that in the near future!!
    20. zubbiez
gotta pic? I just crawled under my truck to see what your asking about mines a 2000 so I dont know if its the same. but I would suggest wetting the bushing with some soapy water this will lubricate it and allow you to gently tap the shock into place in the mounting bracket. I hope this helps Im kinda going on what I think your asking, cant really know without a pic let me know if this helps or if you have other questions. Eddie
