I personally, would stay away from any of the "ram air" intakes. Most are shotty craftsmanship, and really add nothing. The most amount of air you can get will be coming up through your fender, so just removing the shelf/tray where the stock intake sits, you are already increasing airflow.
The cheapest route, would be just swapping out the stock tube/resonator, as that is where most of the restriction is.
Thanx for all the great info. You make mention of the differences for high and low speeds. Is there a general way to quantify the high and low speed ranges. Just curious.
High speed being highway, low speed being city driving.
