Interior pics of the wifes HHR. We were going for more of a classic look.
The interior kit has been in the car about a month now. I bought a kit made by Benevento, African Zebra wood with Brazilian oak inserts, through the HHR Club Store.
Fit and finish is ok.
The kit's designed for 07 and older cars and there were changes that werent addressed prior to advertising it for 08's. All issues are minor and can be fixed with a little trimming.
Installation takes about 1.5 hours.
Additional tools needed are cotton balls, alchohol, blow dryer, and a razor blade.
The wifes happy with the look and thats really all that counts.

A late update on the Eibach lowering kit used on the wifes HHR.
Within a few hundred miles of installation I noticed when running at speeds of 70+ I was bottoming out when hitting larger cracks and bumps on the road.
I thought the shocks were bottoming out but while looking at the shocks for any problems I noticed all 4 bumpstops had gouges and imprints on them.
I called Eibach about the issue and was told they had a few similar complaints on 08 HHR's with the Sport suspension (which I have), but it wasnt a widespread issue.
A friend that owns a speed shop offered his help to solve the problem (he's getting into customizing HHR's and wants to know what works and what doesnt). We removed the coils and pressure tested them, all were +/- 10lbs of Eibach specs. Next we used a set of Eibach coils that had been on an 07 HHR that had'nt suffered from the bottoming. My HHR still bottomed out.
Another discussion with Eibach and they revealed that in their research they found GM had tweaked the suspension slightly between the 07 and 08 on the sport suspension models for some unkown reason. This tweaking is believed to be the cause of the bottoming.
The conclusion was I put the factory springs back on and Eibach gave me a full refund for the lowering kit.
I did look at using shorter bumpstops or 1/4 to 1/2 inch pads on the coils but decided to go back to factory.
Now thats a dash kit I like..
