Try switching to a pusher type fuel pump, this helps a lot in vapor lock situations.

Older Chevy's had a lot of issues with vapor lock when you put headers on them so the trick was to use a pusher fuel pump and mount it on the frame rails right next to the tank. Might be a little harder in a boat since the tanks under the floor boards but probably low in the engine compartment where the fuel line enters will suffice.
Not a bad idea. My parents said they were out on the lake most of the day and the boat sat out at a friends dock and didn't vapor, so so far the exhaust wrap is working even though it wasn't to hot
