Thank you for concluding the issue.
All too often we never hear what it was or or the next steps taken to find out.
You better come back and tell what you find! I have a vibe at 70-75 MPH that comes and goes. Could be a tire out of round (but still in balance). I THINK mines an axle issue from an accident but...
Ceramic pads run hotter + thinner rotors + possibly over torqued lug nuts all added up. My Tahoe is heavy and I want it to stop good and I don't care to sacrifice that for the sake of less dust on...
Groovy! I was going to address this problem in the summer. Now I won't have to fabricate my own blocks.
Thanks for the tip.
A good dino oil or blend in the summer like Pennzoil cuz I don't mind changing it.
Pennzoil Platinum, Mobil 1, or Full Syn Maxlife in the winter for longer OCI as I don't like changing oil in the...

I have a Fram washable air filter: http://www.fram.com/products/air_filters/product_list#Overview-24
It seems to fit my needs well. Good filtering for my last 40K highway miles and washable if I...
Same here! We get dandruff snow but that about it so far. I have a windshield camera mount I am dying to try out plowing through some drifts.
It might be my fault. I bought a set of...
ISS - Intermediate Steering Shaft sounds like the culprit. Get a Dorman replacement as it works as well as any and it is cheap.
Look up ISS issues as there is mucho info out here.
What about the parking brake shoes?

A better description of the issue may help.
With the rain I might suspect surface rust on the breaks and maybe a slightly out-of-round rotor/drum grabbing on the brakes, especially the parking...
When I got my Sierra I had one cylinder like that. Many horrible scenarios went through my mind as I imagined all the things it could be.
After shopping around for motors and getting depressed,...
I have a set of 16" OEM wheels w/caps in decent shape for $150.
Detroit, MI area.
Well fudge. I hate when that happens.
The crappy little column diagram I have is not clear and having an electrical key retaining lock is just silly. If the battery dies you have to leave...
Probable a keyless auto start relay if equipped with one.
Yes, it is going to be a mechanical linkage rather than an electrical one.
Mine is a stick so I am going to postulate a bit.
The ignition switch needs feedback from the trans or shifter so it...
Probably the encoder motor on the hot/cold blend door is binding up. They aren't cheap.
Yeah, the stuff is usually there. If your lucky, the BCM portion was not deleted.
However, many folks hate the BCM cause it won't let you run them w/ high beams, etc. In that case you would...
I believe it's on the bottom the the duct work below the glove box area. There is a plastic kick panel that runs from the drivers right side to the far right of the dash underneath that needs to be...
I am not near my fuse note right now but a common problem is that the small wires going from the tow switch to BCM break due to vibration or fatigue especially if the tilt wheel feature is used a...
Missing or crappy brake hardware, like springs and retainers, in the drums.
Drums are warped. If they are oval shaped, the shoes will grab as the narrow part comes 'round.

I would say it's unlikely the switch but it's easy enough to find out. Disconnect the switch and toss in a new fuse.
Switches and relays typically have B+ (positive) legs only and a bad one...
How big is the winch? Do you want it on there full time?
I put a front receiver on my toy truck so I can plug in my push bumpers, a winch, or both. I went that route as I wanted to keep it...
Type of tires and low tire pressure can rob a few MPG's
Have engine PCM tuned for economy.
Drive downhill all the time :)

Glad it was nice and simple.
Beef jerky donations gladly accepted

No disrespect intended but are you sure it's the motor?
More common are the resister packs, blower relay, main motor supply wire and fuses and I would hope it's one of these before going to all...
