    2003 Silverado Grill Question

Earlier this week I replaced the standard grill in my Jeep with some painted expanded metal. My Dad noticed and now he wants his truck done. Only issue with that is I have no clue how big his grill...

I usually order my LEDs from ebay. If you're impatient like I usually am be sure it's a US seller.

To replace them all takes a bit of work but it can be done with a bag of 100 LEDs or so (you'll...

I figured they would be twist-lock. A heatsink wouldn't be needed for a resistor this small. I think mine are 470 ohm 1/4 watt. If you don't want to go the resistor route you could try a tint of some...

If the window rolls down and it's just the auto-down feature that isn't working I'm thinking it's an issue inside the switch. Generally you can feel a secondary click when engaging the auto-down...

Have you taken apart the dimmer switch and looked inside? It's a fairly primitive switch mechanism that may just need a little adjusting. The knob that selects which mode the light is in has a couple...

Are the bulbs twist lock style or individual LEDs? I replaced mine in my 04 Silverado with blue LED and just put a bigger resistor to get them a little dimmer.

Yeah, he spun it around and then it rolled onto its top. Once it was upside down the engine pulled the nose down and crushed the roof.

It's hard to go wrong with a white vehicle!

Sad to see the Silverado go

You read that right, I'm in the process of getting rid of my Silverado. Story time!

So my brother recently wrecked his 96 Toyota (my first vehicle) and it's down for the count. Rather than...

I'm around. I haven't been on in a while due to school and work. Sadly, the reason I logged on was to explain why I'm getting rid of my Silverado and show off the new toy.

    Check engine light issues

About a week ago my check engine light came on. I got it scanned and it was the rear knock sensor. I've been expecting this for awhile since my truck is nearly 10 years old. Today while driving...

LED conversions are a pain but they look so good when finished! I redid just my cluster and A/C controls and I love them!
