Well that was what I read on one schematic, the other was hot fuel module, GM has it as part# 10052973 Module AS 3900, others show it as a fuel pump control module.

Well i finally found a melting point, the transistor circuit board, the transistor melted right through the case.

I do not know much about the newer stuff. But have you checked for fuel flow before it gets to the injectors?

Funny my 87 only had 2 relays that is could see. I am going to look for the ignition one first. I am thinking as bad as the fuses were, that the smell and little of smoke came from them, right after...

I agree, my problem is that my Chilton schematics do not seem to be that good. I do not see any relays besides the fuel and ac. I will dig around on the internet and see if i can find some more info....

Still taking a butt whipping here.
Well I wish it was the switch, Changed it out and no difference, did need to replace a blown guage and ecm b fuse.
