Knowing the maintenance history on this truck, I did not expect BJ's, TRE's, or other major front end components to suddenly start to fail in the +/-4000 miles I have put on it.

The price doesn't sound bad, for the amount of materials and labor...
BUT... no cats will be a sure fire Inspection Fail of they are required in your state.
And it sounds like a pretty shoddy...

They get +/- $900 for OE 17 & 18" alloy wheels with OE tires.
I've got the '08 17" wheels. Just gotta get some tires.
The $ will depend on whether or not the guy that is looking...

Here is the research I have done on shocks for my Burb.
On my F150 with a mild (+/- 2.5") lift I ran F250/F350 shocks because they were longer / more travel.
Have learned there is no...
Yeah, I know opinions are like areseholes... everbody has one and they all stink... except yours...
Bone stock 96 K1500.
May be replacing shocks soon.
Like Monroe Gas Magnums... good combo...

I am currently running 2005 Z71 wheels with 265/70/17's on my bone stock 96 K1500 with no issue.
Hopefully upgrading to 2008 Z71 wheels with 285/70/17's soon.
Will be a bit tight on a stock 96,...
Kyle, are you talking about ordering the CA's (U&L) from Summit / Amazon or the BJ's?
On these trucks is it easier to just replace all than to separate & replace BJ's?

FWIW, I answered my own question...
They do not interchange.
99 LT w/ power heated mirrors has 8-pin connector.
96 LS w/ power regular mirrors has 4-pin connector.
Tell me more about the TBI spacer (I have a 96 LS 5.7)...
As for tunes... there is a member here who has a great rep for doing custom tunes...
DiabloTune or something like that is is S/N
I like the sound of the Magnaflow (stock cats, stock dual 2.5" inlet / single 3" stock pipe out).
I cut the pipe straight off about 12" from the end and welded on a nice 3.5" rolled edge SS tip.

The PS mirror glass is broken on the 96. (Actually, it is missing. Popped...
at the end of the day i dumped it for $1300 to a shady used car lot who figured he could put $3-400 in to it and put in on the lot for $3995 and make even more on the "in house" financing.
