I think the trans cooler is dependent with the packages on the truck. My 2013 1500 has the Heavy-Duty trailering package which does include a locking diff and a trans cooler. I also believe there is...

What about the old school "Heartbeat of America"?
My truck came with Ranchos and to be honest it rides much, much smoother than I thought it would.
I think they intrigue me just for a change. Sometimes I see one I really like, but usually just driving by. When I actually stop and look at them I definitely prefer the Chevy.
I always say I'm going to buy a GMC "next time". My dealership offers both (2 separate lots but can deal with th same salesman for either of the 2), but every time it comes down to it, NOTHING beats...

I third the 120 ft/lb of torque on the lug nuts for a 1500. The specs on my last truck (2500HD) was 140 ft/ lb

If you're ever in the Detroit area you will see a Raptor every half a mile.

2013 Chevy Silverado.
paid $27,650 before taxes
$15,500 down (trade in after the pay off on old loan)
Financed roughly $10,000 (tax, title, etc)
$340/month for 36 months

The price is the only downfall, my last Silvy was a 2009 2500hd weighing in at 6600lbs and got 9-10mpg around town, so a "Raptor fighter" would be an upgrade on that.

I think the air dam probably increases fuel economy slightly, in a corporate wide standpoint, it probably helps GM meet fleet wide fuel standards, but in a one truck scenario it is most likely going...

150k miles seems reasonable, but every NBS & NNBS truck that I know of with 65-80k miles has had trans cooler lines replaced. (Remember, I'm talking about people in MI). We have 14 GM pickups in out...

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but, my 2009 that I just got rid of had a very slight leak right by the fitting going into the trans cooler. I live in Michigan so we have a ton of road...
Thanks everyone. Hopefully it's nice out this weekend so I can get it all cleaned up and get some pics up!
No problem! Hope it works!
The air dams seem to rip off of most of our work trucks and they seem to run fine, but I'll give it a try and if it starts running hot I can always put it back on. I always say that I'm going to keep...
The truck came with the wheel and tire warranty so I'm going to keep them for a while. Tint and air dam removal are coming this weekend. As for a leveling kit, that is a possibility. Never thought...
I do have the bull bar still. But, I decided to sell it tho, I'm not a fan of a chrome bar on a painted front end.
I will get some interior pics up in the next day or two. It actually has bed rail protectors and bed liner from the dealer. When it comes to adding chrome accents, I really like everything being red....
Well, I picked up the new ride today. And I must say, it's awesome. Every Chevy truck I buy just keeps getting better and better.

I agree. Like I stated, if I was saving money or breaking even, I'd run it. But, I'm not going to run a "cleaner" fuel just to spend more in the long run.
