Sometimes its not the lever its the coiled spring mine was froze up some pb blaster and it loosed up.

I have the Rain-x brand one piece wipers and they really do make a difference. Along with the one piece wipers the rain-x wiper fluid really helps in the heavy rains of huricane season.:great:
