Thanks! That's probably what it is.
I know that the ECM stores it too, from what the dealer is saying. I wonder if I can put it on the computer and see if that's what it is??
Hey everyone, I'm back!
I'm having an issue with my crank sensor on my 04' Colorado.
It keeps seeting off my check engine light.
The computer says the crank sensor needs to be relearned??
Scan tools have come a long ways! I knew they would be able to tell if there were wiring problems eventually! All they'll need is part changers eventually! LOL!
I don't think so! I noticed it after going abot 200 miles out of town but that's what I was wondering about with the PCM. I'll see what happens when I change the BCM back, when I get done putting a...

Here is an update to the problem.
Thought someone would need to know.
I changed the BCM and that temporarly fixed it.
It seems as if this is a common problem with this type of truck, the BCM...

I had a problem with the washer motor not working and found the BCM was the culprit. On the way to the dealership with the new/used BCM, my check engine light come on. When I got...
Remember that all your switch signals are low voltage and sent to the BCM. You can check the signal to the BCM when it is working to know what wire the signal is going through and when it acts up...
The state I live in doesn't run an emmissions test. We only had to work on the ones that came in with the codes for it!:lol:

As one person had stated that they...
What is Seafoam?
I prefer the Bosh or NGK.
Besides they make most all the plugs for all the manufacturers anyways.:great:
Make sure the gap is right before you put them in. One that may have been dropped in the box...
I would say take it and see what happens.
I think that will get you a starting point.
I agree. It all has to do with engine temp and how the settings work.
My HHR has the same thing excet the fact that mine has the knobs for the temp. and the option controller circuit. Sounds like...
The metal version is a better tool and sometimes the plastic tools won't work the first time you use it.
As best as I can describe how it works is this:
Looking at the pix of the filter on the...
I would check to see if the blower assm. is clogged with leaves first.
If there isn't enough flow to keep the resistor cool and stopping it from getting overheated.
Another thing is that if it is...

Tested for signal going to the module (1.5v) and for good wire to the washer motor.
All checked good.
Getting a new BCM when I get back from work in a month!:great:

First 2 is of the module.
The 3rd is the input harness.

I meant that it wasn't in the frnt due to the fact you mentioned it wasn't in the T.S. area!
