It doesn't seem like a good deal to me. Considering I already have a good jack...I just need something to access the spare, and paying over $100 for a tool to get the spare is ridiculous.

I just talked to a salvage yard in New York. They want $100 (plus $20 shipping) for the entire jack assembly.

I think I'm going to take a closer look at what is needed tonight, and see if I can manufacture something myself. If I come up with something that works fairly well (and fairly cheaply) I'll post...

Well I took it in this morning, and they replaced the rear u-joint and greased the front one. Parts were $66.30 and labor was $191.95, for a total (with tax, shop fees, etc) of $276.19.
