I have a dash mounted screen also , but mounted a visor to the unit it keeps the sun glare off and I can remove it if needed. instead of tiniting windows it works much better and I know that the...
I say go for it also..
I have a Ford F53 Mh Factory recommend every 30k to flush the tranny on it. E40D problem tranny anyway.

On the 97 Cheyenne 4x4 K2500 I just picked up a month ago. thought there was a problem with the IAC motor...what it was doing was not idling it would rev up then almost die ..But what I did before...
lets see , come on show us !!!!
I got very lucky and found an actuator on Ebay for 24.99 plus 6 bucks shipping.
I know amazon has them too for about 68 bucks
they use a Dorman p/n of 600-101 I think might be different for your...

Pretty slick, the only thing I do not care for is the small lights in the gate , man I would have some killer L.E.D.'s going on there!!!

Well to answer my own question, YES the spacer is needed when using a 600-101 acuator on a 1997 chevy K2500 p/u
I installed it today along with a new 1/2 axle complete, new brakes, rotate...

wow no one has done this here ..on a 97 cheyenne I am shocked
a lot of times you can unplug the connector at the acumulator and insert a jumper wire into the wire harness it is only a 2 pin connector that should cycle the compressor , you may have a bad low...

The window crank was very expensive , about 15 bucks VISE GRIP brand of course..lol
I am going to change out the inner door panel on the driver side to electric.. passenger side can keep cranking...

these pics are not pretty the truck runs great but looks are not the best, it even has a 1/2 ton bed .
